Jake West worked here at Peter Kahl Reptiles since August of 2010. We have reason to believe Jake has been selling some of our snakes without our knowledge. I respect and look up to a lot of these breeders here in the Bush League Nick and yourself included! I am new to the breeding of Bp's and do not have much knowledge to contribute. I have gained so much knowledge from the blbc and from other breeders and I am so appreciative of that I am willing to do whatever I can to contribute...I also despise all thieves!

It's a shame when employees do stuff like that. With a collection like Pete has, this guy could of made some serious cash on his little side job there. I hope they get him for it.

Man... you just never know when someone is going to stab you in the back.

This isn't the first time I've heard of this. There's another big breeder that had an employee decide to start her own collection at the expense of her boss.

Is it just me...or does it seem like so many people feel that they are owed so much that they are willing to get it however they can even if it isn't there's to take...what is wrong with our society today?:nono:

Nope not just you Chris. When I was a kid my Dad told me no matter what my job description, my primary job was to work hard and make my employer money.

When I had my shop and employees they felt they were owed a good paycheck because they showed up, often late and were breathing good air. Wouldn't do any work at all. I had one kid that would sit in the back room his whole shift. I finally fired him when watching the CC video feed and all he would do is go out and help a customer and then go in the back and sit down, for FOUR hours.

Had another that thought I was too stupid to know that the till was short. Kept hitting me up for $5 and $10 thinking I wouldn't notice. Nice kid, good family, I did all I could with employee discounts, free feed and feeders for his animals and he rips me off. WTF??? Then he's looking for a new job and wants to give me as a reference. :lmao::lmao:

I would have loved a chance to work for a breeder like Pete. What an experience and education and get paid to boot. :yes::yes:

I would of also loved to of had a job like that and still would...it wouldn't be a job to me it is a passion of mine! That is how I feel about the fire dept. I grew up around it and it was something that I had always dreamed of becoming. Now that is in jeopardy. I am getting ready to have two more back surgery's after already having over 15 or so (Ive lost count)! But I can't give it up. I am raising two awesome kids on my own! That is why I have gotten in to high end high quality BP's! I never knew that it was even out there until Nick Boles told me about it. I have always loved snakes and am very passionate about them and love spending as much time learning about them that I possibly can! I just couldn't imagine bitting that hand that feeds me and has been so good to me!:rockon:
