How long has Mike WIlbanks been in Business? Yet nobody has ever heard Wilbanks EVER use a slogan? One month after the new Constriction Addiction shirts were released with the slogan "What's your Addiction" we have used for years, the "NEW" Constrictors Unlimited shirts were released about a week ago. It was just brought to my attention of his "NEW SLOGAN". I believe it's down right wrong..... You be the judge. Also what does "Constrictors Unlimited" have to do with "addiction" or anything of that matter? Constriction addiction "what's your addiction" Sounds to Familiar to me.

I think the addiction angle is too common place with ball pythons to say he's stealing it from you... just the view of someone on the outside not knowing if there's any kind of background between you guys.

I have to agree, addiction is too common. I would only have a problem with it if it was the exact slogan.

I would be a little pissed about that too, but not enough to make a fuss about it.

I am sure that anyone that has been in the business for more than 2 weeks has heard the phrase from their customers that they are addicted to Ball Pythons. Hell, I am addicted to Ball Pythons. I still feed my addiction. I designed the artwork on the front and it kind of looked like some sort of evil drug dealing death. We tossed around several phrases for the back and ultimately landed on "Feed your Addiction". Do you really think that you are the originator of the idea of people being addicted to reptiles? Sorry, to burst your bubble, but it has been around for a long time.

I have one for the future planned that will talk about becoming Obsessed. I am sure that someone out there has used a phrase with Obsession in it too.

"Constrictors Unlimited" is trade marked and filed. We have already filed for a TM on "Feed your Addiction" too so I wouldn't copy that either. I would file a TM on What's your addiction but that's lame and it's yours and that would just be mean.

Sorry Daniel, but I got a little offended when you accused me in public of stealing your phrase when it wasn't even the same phrase. Like I told you, I don't need to ask what my customer's addiction is, I know, it is Ball Python Morphs. They tell me this phrase all the time. So I like mine better. I have a couple of Mike's shirts and I know one of the shirts does have a slogan the back. Something to the effect of " want a black eye, get in line" which is in reference to his being the first to produce his black eyed lucestic AKA super fire. I guess I would be a little irritated if I felt someone was plagerizing my name but I just don't see it here. Different words, different text as well as a completely different take on the hobby.

The point is that no one used it. He can copy right or probably more appropriately Trade Mark the phrase. But he cannot TM the word "Addiction" or "Your". Those are the words that we had in common and even if he had a TM on his phrase he would have no claim on my phrase. The foolish thing he did was starting this argument on my FB page instead of just calling me. Why not just call me? Seems foolish and unnecessary to me.
