My daughter wanted a crested gecko and I never really thought much about them but I figured, it's $30 and she has been taking good care of her leopard gecko and armadillo lizard for the past 4 years so........I bought the little one.

No mate for it. She saw some at a show but I was not about to pay those prices for morphs (I couldn't even tell which morph was what even when they showed it to me :rolleyes:) so I went with a plain ole normal. Personnally I think it looks better than some of the $400 ones I saw. :dunno:

They are adorable! Careful, they are addictive, just because there is such a huge array of patterns, colors, so many "flavors" that are just over the top of the cute scale!

They are pretty darn cute. Good to hear your daughter is such a good little herper. Armadillo lizard was one of my first herps too. Keep encouraging her, as I know you will. :)

Anthony has some that make 400 look like a small price to pay lol. His stuff is fantastic. They are allot like carpets, ( out side of the genetic morphs ) most of the time your breeding for a pedigree lineage that guarantees to produce beautiful adults with great body/head shape and good crests.

Very cute. And I still have a soft spot when parents and children get involved together. That's what made the whole thing take off at our house.

My daughter has also been on me about letting her have a couple of geckos...and I might have to surprise her with a few in her new room! Pretty awesome looking!

Crested geckos are really neat
