Ok here is my situation... I really want a Pro Exotics desert male but they dont have available right now, ill have the cash available by the end of April which is when the Hamburg, Pa show is. Im on their desert waiting list and im very impatient so my question is... If i dont hear anything by then, what is a good killer 3 gene combo male that i should look for in the $2500-$3000 price range?

I have to agree with everyone else. A desert is the way to go. Unless your three gene combo includes desert! But not for 2500-3k...You will be glad you waited.

Spinnerblasts are one of my favorite three gene animals.
They are proven and solid.
The Desert is an exciting morph that's full potential isn't know yet.
What will a Super Desert look like?

I was thinking spinnerblast or maybe a emporer pin, I have a friend who just picked up a desert and he said that he would do a trade with me next year if I took that route. So its a hard call, wish I could afford both

I recently purchased a emperor pin male, but I also debated another triple - pastel jigsaw(mojoxpin). Jon's Jungle has one for sale at a GREAT price. Mojave combos will only be better when more people start getting into the phantom/mystic/special projects. Just was throwing that one out there. Desert ghosts are awesome, and of course the PE Deserts. I just invested in that project, so I'm crossing my fingers on some success this year from PE.

IMO desert males are the hottest thing out there right now. With some of the industry rumors and all the females haev a question mark until it's proven without a doubt that they breed and lay well. (side note, I said before that if the females need to be bigger, then that is a good thing, especially if a super pops up IMO). Regardless of that, the desert gene is making amazing combos and seems like a good project to get into.
