This was actually a startling sight when opened up my female womas tub, she not dead but just going into shed and very bloated. She has locked up with my male several times this fall and now she looks like someone snuck her a couple jumbo rats when I wasn't looking. This is my first go with womas so I hope this is her building to what will hopefully be an ovulation. She refused food for the first time yesterday and she is a vorocious feed even when she is deep in the blue, so maybe that is another good sign.

I'd love to here from those who have experience with womas about some of the things to look for as they develop thru the reproductive proccess.

Those are kinda cool looking... another one to add to the ever growing list.

I know what you mean by 'startling' I've opened up tubs before to find females that were all bloated looking and sitting at awkward angles and the first thing that crosses my mind is 'Oh my God she's dead......' It takes a few seconds for it to sink in and then the happy face breaks out. Congratulations, looks like she's gonna be a Mama....
