i picked this guy up at the Columbia show from a friend that was holding it for me....it came from around Mobil AL and we were hoping it was a girl to add into the albinos....since it is a male, i'm gonna breed him to a couple normal girls and see if there is anything genetic going on with him....his lips have almost no pattern and he is extremely light for his area...we'll see...

I have seen some similar to this while herping here in Georgia and in South Carolina. Looks almost hypoish, but only breeding will tell the tale. Great looking cottonmouth, and definently will make a great breeding project.

Gorgeous animal, and WC at that! Is WC and CB attitude different in Venemous like it is for Non? Like are CB Venemous more 'Tame' [Not that you should ever free handle it].

yes...raising baby venomous snakes is similar to non....most babies tend to settle down with age....most go through routine cleanings with no problem....but as with all snakes they have their bad days and sometimes you just to have to give in to an animal and let him wait a day or two... western diamondbacks are notorious for this....i never touch an animal unless it is to tail an adult from it's cage to the trash can for cleaning....i do not believe it necessary to pin any snake under normal circumstances and have not since i got hit four yrs ago....before that i didn't like pinning animals, but had some sidewinders that wouldn't eat, so....also i have seen animals w/ damaged necks from guys holdin them too tight...if i want a snake to live 20+ yrs, i want as little stress as possible for that animal.....thanks jamie
