Took this picture while I was breaking down one of the old varanid cages we are not using anymore... I could not believe that this tiny spider overpowered this superworm and strung it up... Pretty cool...

im far from being an expert but i guess it is one. she has these sandclock pattern on her back...

Not a black widow though. They are glossy jet black and have a scarlet red hour glass on the underside of the opisthosoma (abdomen).

Perhaps a brown widow. Also I believe there is a third species in the group but I am not sure.

There are actually 31 species of Latrodectus (widow spiders)... Sadly this is not the classic black widow... If it were a clasic black widow, it would have become a pet... LOL... I believe this is a species of cobweb spider...
