I just wanted to start myself out on this forum with a bang, so to speak lol. running a poll to see who shoots with what here. SLR, P&S, other? I'm going to write up some tutorials to possibly help in any way I could with whoever wants to learn, so I'd like to hear what aspects/topics you'd like to learn about as well on photographing your reptiles :D I'm all ears :)

The D80 only runs around $590-700 for the body depending on where you go :)

I shoot with the Canon 400D, and the Canon 1Ds Mark III.

My Nikon D-50 has served me pretty well. I'm sure I'd be happier with faster lenses though. LOL

I use a Kodak easyshare Z612. It has a manual setting, I just haven't played with it. You would think I would know how to set it since one of my majors was photography. 20 years of not doing anything, and I just can't remember.....shameful I know

Then they have went down in price... cause mine cost me right at $900 when I bought it around 2 years ago I think it was.... I got it and some Tamron lenses... and it set me back right at $1300

I shoot with a D70 but I hate to say that I grab a little Nikon point shoot most of the time since it has a killer macro on it.......
