My female Moluccan scrub, that I have decided to call Molly, just shed last night. That gave me an oppertunity to get some photos of her in her new skin.

The gold color is really starting to come through now. She will really start to change over the next six months. She also seems to be settling in,... still wants to kill the camera.... but she is pretty chill when it comes to handling her. Moluccans seem to be more relaxed than other Scrub species or locales but they still take awhile to earn that fragile trust. That is why I chose to take the time to raise a hatchling to pair with Dude, so that I can take the time to establish a routine and bond with her.
