These guys are pretty awesome snakes! Absolutely simple to take care of once you have the idea of how the substrate should feel down, and hes doing great. He always eats now when i feed him ( hasnt missed a meal since he took his first with me), and while i dont mess too much with him, he really dosnt seem to be too stressed out by it. ( id be expecting him to stop eating, like shipping did to him, or maybe musking me) But Nope, this guy has done nothing but thrive from the first little bit on.

Im pretty proud of him! Id like to get myself a female for breeding them, maybe next year? ( They are rarely bred in captivity that i know about, and you can probably count on one hand how many times thats been done.... So it would truly be an accomplishment if i could produce my own CB stuff! )

Honestly, i wasnt sure how well i would do with this guy. Im very very pleased with myself.

But, hes been doing so darn well, i cant imagine that if you got one that WAS feeding consistantly * they love to eat! let me tell you!*, that they would do all that badly with you. The key is to keep the substrate humid, but not wet. Feed em once a week, or once every other, and just dont bug them too much. I really think alot of people could do well with them if they keep on top of things and can handle a.... snake that you never get to see.... snake. :)

I Like to hold my animals.... I dont go much more than a day without checking on, and holding my animals. This guy.... he just really brings about a different kind of satisfaction for me since i dont get to hold him all the time. Just the fact that i can keep him, and keep him healthy and well, it means that im doing things right. Cant get much better than that :)

Got a female hiding there Alicia?

Im going to be getting one eventually :) Need to find a girl thats bigger than him! Hes a big boy!

I have a few ideas on how im going to go about breeding them, but it means a BOATLOAD of research heading my way too. :Q Ah well! Itll be worth it!

I know ill share when i do eventually breed them. I would very much like to have a CB population of these guys available in the states. * i think all of us who keep them want that* Because as of right now, MOST of them are all imported.... and do not do well. ( But CAN if you get them as feeding )

Thanks everyone for the compliments!!! They are unique critters :D
