Very cool animals!

Not only do they change color (let's face it, an awful lot of herps do . . .), but they get much, much _better_ looking as they age! (Wish my pastel BPs would do that!)

They're almost like someone crossed an Eastern king with a Mangrove snake (which is hardly possible). Very beautiful snake, no doubt.

What is the temperment like with these guys?

Nice looking snakes. Are they hard to get started on eating. I've heard stories about Mandarins....

Russians are nothing like mandarins.....rofl mandarins are a pain most of the time and russians are no prob most of the time.

They are calm as kittens till feeding time......LOL

Gorgeous snakes- I too love old world rats. The adults almost remind me a bit of Spilotes in the color pattern. Really cool- I'd never seen them before. Thanks for posting on them!
