ive had carpets before and got out of them but im hooked again what do you thing i should get jungles, ijs, , bredli, jags, what ? let me know. keep in mind im not rich haha so jags really shouldnt be on the list haha my personal opinion i really like jungles, ij, and bredli's the coastals get to big for me not that i dont like how big they get i just dont have the space for how big they get. but i want everyones opinion lets see what everyones favorite carpet is ? and why ?

problem is most of them scream at me haha i think ill get a pair of brendli and a pair of jungles that sounds good and then ill wait for a nice pair of jags when i can afford it. i pritty much knew that already i was just curious of different peoples opinions on the locals and the morphs

wow some killer looking snakes on there. the jungles win for contrast yellow and black, the jads just win haha , and the ij have a cool cream and green/black to them. and the brendli are just red witch is awsome ill have to get a few of each haha i love carpets

i would say what ever you like. myself i would pick up a either diamond pythons or diamond jungle jags.

It all depends on what you can afford to purchase, house, feed and what size range you want one to stay in. If you want a small one, get an Irian Jaya. They tend to stay in the 4-6 ft. range, Jungles get around 5-7 ft., and coastals range from 5-9 ft.
4-6 ft. Carpets can be kept in 3x2x1.5 ft cages and 6+ft. carpets should be kept in 4x2x1.5 ft cages. Size can differ though, as there have been 6 ft. adult coastals and 8 ft. Irian Jayas, just be prepared.
And BTW, Jaguars are not that expensive anymore. They have gotten down to about $475-700, very affordable.
I myself like the Irian Jayas, coastals, diamonds and diamond crosses. The last three tend to be in the larger range. All are very affordable and most are or become calm in their lifetime.

I like most of them, dig the big coastals and the JCP's...love the high contrast stuff the most out of them all I think.

I like diamonds, but if space and money is an issue it would seem the IJ could be a good choice.

We have a pair IJ's but love them all and if space allowed would have more

yeah i know about the sizes and species and prices i use to have jungles and some of my friends have brendli's and ij i bred jungle ij crosses back in 07 with 50 percent sucess, my female laid 10 eggs nine of those hatched but 11 more where egg bound had surgery on her to remove the 11 and she didnt make it very long after the procedure. for a long time i couldnt get myself to get a carpet but besides bloods and fwc there my favorite species so i want them again like i said before i was just geting everyones opinion on whats there favorite sorry i should have been more clear. thank you for the post tho its nice to see people helping one another for a change, alot of forums ive been in are rude and just sit around making fun of people,

Irian Jayas are pretty awesome! You should defintiely check some of them out :)

ok i think ive desided a pair of brendli, a pair of jungles, and a pair of jaguar male ij female.... haha that makes it simple lol coastals are to big to house in the tubs i have.... ill post pics when i get them my wish list is very long this year so it could take some time happy new year everyone

JCP are my fav!! I love the yellow and black contrast the screamers have!! Good luck on your hunt.. And definately let us know what you finally get..
