Nilgai Antelope (These things are huge and extremely fast! The females are a brown color and the males are black/blue)

Long shot of some females as they ran into the trees-

We have two male Nilgai antelope at the zoo I work at. Being that they are castrated, they don't go through the color change like the one in your pic. It's pretty wild to see them so dark when I only see them in their non rut khaki color. Nice job on the hunt.

That's very interesting! I would love to work with them, they seem like such a cool species.

It sure is! I wish we could go when it's warmer. I bet it's crawling with herps.

Nice pics Joe, where is this? I miss quail hunting, the ranch I hunt in west Texas doesn't have quail anymore due to the fire ants and other ranches chaining their land and destroying the habitat. Looks like a great time!

At a friends ranch in Kingsville. That sucks about your place, quail are my favorite thing to hunt.

Yes plenty of game, not a lot of large water holes though so no fish sorry.
