5 bucks for a pound.....? I think I will stick with Vermiculite. It also looks really coarse.

lol, i know...can get 20lbs for 10 bucks online from a garden store...the coarseness got me questioning it too

Yes it works, but is it worth the cost that's debatable. If your doing 1 or 2 clutches maybe it's worth it but on a large scale no way. I got half a bag for free so I tried it out. Works just like vermiculite or any other popular incubation substrate.
