Great pics.
The owl looks like the epitome of cool. Hes the James Dean of the bird world.
What is that big furry thing that the lady is wearing as an apron? :D
Is it a sloth?
Great pics. Love that owl pic as well.

Discovery cove is awesome! I have to make that trip. Its a little pricey though.
By the looks of your pics it has to be worth it.

Discovery cove is awesome! I have to make that trip. Its a little pricey though.
By the looks of your pics it has to be worth it.
Its about $280 per person for a normal day (unless they went up on price since 2007). This includes unlimited access to swimming in the lagoon (those first series of pics where I was with the rays, fish, etc), and a 30-min session with the dolphin where you learn a few hand signals and a short ride around the pool.
We ended up doing the "trainer-for-a-day" ticket for about $500. With this, you get an additional 45 mins with the dolphins, including a really cool stunt of your choice (we chose the "Superman" where one dolphin is pushing you on each foot, propelling you thru the water), behind-the-scenes tour of the whole joint, a nice breakfast and lunch, feeding the stangrays, as well as some swag, like a totebag, underwater camera, etc. And if that wasn't enough, if you get the trainer-for-a-day thing, you get a 7-day pass to either SeaWorld or Busch Gardens.
Went there a few years ago and had a good time. Dont know if I would do it again for what it cost though. It looks like the upgrade ticket might have been worth it though.....
