Got my first snake since coming back to the hobby today! Looks like I have decided to focus on Western Hogs. I got a fantastic deal on a Baumgardner Red Phase 100% Het Albino Female today. Couldn't pass it up. I guess you would call it an impulse buy. lol.

Yeah I held that sucker under for more than 10 minutes. nada. Apparently the same thing happened the week before with the same snake. Next came a trip to the freezer (that worked last time) and then came the anticeptic around the mouth. That is what ultimately did the trick.

a credit card works to...just slide it gently from the front of the mouth tward the back while gently pushing the snakes head forward....gets the teeth out of the skin so you can slide your finger out.
