View Full Version : Prasinus eggs hatching...
Robyn@SYR 07-08-2011, 08:15 PM It has been a good few days, hatching and egg wise. Lots of cool Balls hatching, Rhino rat eggs today, Gila eggs today, but this was a surprise, about a month early (from our guesstimates). Super stoked about this. Prasinus/Green Tree monitors hatching- 4 eggs in the clutch. Another clutch of 5 eggs on the opposite end of the box, still 3 months out.

Dan W 07-08-2011, 08:18 PM Wow. That is so awesome.
Dan
Robyn@SYR 07-08-2011, 08:26 PM Thanks Dan. The truth is I gave up on this group many years ago. It was Chad that insisted we continue working with them.
We have gotten eggs plenty of times. Full term dead in the egg babies a couple of times. Never a slit and healthy baby. I was frustrated and humbled by the challenge, and ready to walk away from it.
But Chad insisted, and Jimmy and Andy did their daily monitor work. And now we are here, with more good clutches cooking.
Shows what I know.
Whoooooo Hooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! That is AWESOME!!!! Huge congrats man, that gives me much hope with my blues!!
Amazing! Congrats and be sure to post pics when some of those puppies are out!
sangmort 07-08-2011, 09:38 PM CONGRATS! Knowing how hard Tree Monitors are to breed / incubate, this is a huge accomplishment! :) ~
Robyn@SYR 07-09-2011, 08:55 PM A couple of pics Chad took today of the first one out of the egg. All four are now setup in a group hatchling cage, exploring and bopping around. Very cool to see.

Mike's Monitors! 12-25-2011, 12:18 PM LMFAO!!!
My genetic jackhammer ability has been passed down to my (8) children Robyn.
I am now a proud Grandpa of 3 beautiful Granddaughters, Adriana(Junebug), Gabriella(Gazoo) and Jonna(the Piranah).
Robyn staying away from Nicci may not be good enough.
I've been told even a hand shake could prove positive results! LOL!!
The Sperminator!
