But was wondering what a ball park figure for an adult pied would be these days.

Curious in Michigan :D

Quig...I saw an adult female going for around $8,000 on Kingsnake...but I know that is on the really high end!!! I was just looking at Kingsnake and Peter Kahl is selling adult 100% Het females proven breeders for $1500. Is it something you are thinking about adding to your collection in the near future?

Well the hatchlings are going for between $900-$1000, So I would assume breeding age adults would be considerably higher. With the pieds it there is also a bit of a grade put to them based on how much white they have. It doesn't make a big price difference but you can find low white pieds for cheaper.

Not sure if this helps, but I have been considering a pied myself. The hardest part is finding an adult for sale.

Thanks guys, and Chris, it's not for me. Was checking for a friend. LOL, I could hardly afford the spider when I got her. Pieds will be a while yet.

i think brian barcyk talked about pricing adluts a while ago. if i remeber correct he said 150%-200% for good sized adults. means a baby pied costs 1000$- a reasonable price for an sub adult/ adult would be 1500$ to 2000$. but i dont know if this holds true for recessiv morphs also. maybe theyre worth a bit more...idk
but i guess it has always something to do with the individuell animal also. i mean adult can mean a lot. a 3500g adult female which is a proven breeders is for sure worth more than a 1500g one...

Joe, also another thing I considered is the amount of white on an individual snake. The more white, the higher the price.

I was going to say i have three 1200 gram pieds in my racks i would not sell them at this point for any less then $2000. Once they hit 1500 grams or higher not a dime less then $3000.

It is very sad now a days to see new pied females sell at $800 or $1000. I know steady decline is the norm but come on guys they are Pied's!!!!!

Hopefully there prices have leveled off and will steady.
