I have an interesting situation and was wondering if any of you have seen this before.. I have 3 beardies from the same clutch. 2 male, 1 female. They are almost 2 years old. 1 male and the female are approximately 12" in body length (not including tail) but the other male is only about 6" in body length (not including tail). They all have about the same size heads, legs, tails, and body width. They have all been fed and housed under the same conditions, in separate cages. They all act and look healthy and have had no issues. The smaller male looks kind of mis-proportioned. He almost looks like a dwarf. Is this possible? Should I be worried about him?

Could be many things. Not sure if this happens in retiles or not but I know in orangutans there will be just one dominant male in the troop and all other males will stay in a juvenile state size and looks wise until they leave the troop.

Could be genetics also.

I've had some that were just slower growers but always caught up eventually. Just make sure it can't see the other male and as long as it's eating and behaving fine then I wouldn't worry about it.

They are stacked so none of them can see eachother. He eats and behaves like all the rest of them. I will just have patience with my little late bloomer : )
