All right folks, the newsletter committee has graciously asked me to write a regular column for the newsletter. The first article has already been written and will appear in the September edition. I would really like this newsletter to be more about what you guys want to hear about than what I want to write about. I thought a poll would be a good way to find out what most people want to hear about. At least the next couple articles will come from these choices, so make sure you vote if you want your topic covered.

I vote geriatrics. Since I do not yet have an elderly boa I have never considered what special care they might require.

I voted for the skin disease/mouthrot for purelyselfish reasons. Its not something I have ever had issues with and want to know about it in case it does ever happen!

I voted for respiratory, but how about an article on mites and their role in disease transmission and such.

hmm... some good choices. i voted for Geriatrics because, to be honest iv'e never really thought about care being different for an older reptile.

I voted skin/mouth rot. That one IMO is not covered enough.

I voted respiratory because it is common and a lot of people try and treat it themselves by jacking up the heat. It would be great to see an article that covers this horrible ailment. But I must say all these topics are great.

I am thinking geriatrics. Its something I have never even considered being young and having only reptiles 10years and younger.
