Yep people, it's official, Home Depot is retarded.
I had 12 boards cut into pieces of 6x24, well only 1/2 of them are actually 6x24, the rest are 6.5 or 7x24 :mad:

I think most have learned this lesson, I know I did. Same thing, wanted some boards cut a specific length and they were nowhere near close. At least they overcut and you can still use the pieces.

When I had my huge table saw , I'd have Home Depot precut my melamine into easier to handle sizes. After talking to the saw operaters , I opted to have them do the grunt work and I'd fine tune it. The BIG plywood saw is only fine tuned 1x every 3 months if not 6 months. 99% of it has to do with the saw operators as well. Piss poor training shows.
I would not even trust them to rough cut it! I do it all myself besides one sheet of Melamine is not bad to carry........

it always seems as if you're asking too much of them.
no matter what you need. at least in my experience.

I NEVER see anyone near the saws to start with........

Anything I have ever bothered to have cut there is normally way off, short or long....after they cut it try to explain to them that you don't want it because they screwed it up, that will go over well :machinegun:

I just consider Home Depot a warehouse. I go in, I get my stuff, I leave.
I gave up on even asking where something is located. I just search for it myself.
Bitter? Nay, just embracing reality. Home Depot is a great place to find all sorts of great stuff for good prices. But customer service? As we used to say in Brooklyn....forgetaboutit!

Well what I've discovered is if they use the BIG saw to cut things, it comes out correct, if they use the smaller table saw, you can just forget it.
