Not too bad. The young uns can be hard to get feeding, but once they are established, the eat like garbage disposals. Aside from requiring a bit more humidity and some substrate to burrow in, I think they are a good intermediate snake. I wouldn't recommend them for beginners as you can see from my little kissing girl above.

Love those ringed. A buddy of mine produces them. Little high strung for me, but still very cool snakes.

Nice pick up Kat! I have kept ringed pythons in the past and they are pretty cool snakes. They also tend to be pretty chill as they mature. Congrats and good luck with your new girl.:rockon:

Are the babies sometimes really red?

I've only seen them in the loverly terracotta color. Would be interested in seeing a variation, though.

i love how the turn gold as they get older

They are still really cool looking. How big do they get?

5 - 6 ft average. The girl he has in that youtube clip is pretty huge.
