Has anyone else noticed their females pushing out their scent glands and wagging their tales when a male is introduced? I always thought that the trails on the paper were from the male dragging his hemipenes. I remember seeing on one of RDR's videos him saying that the trails were from the male and that it was a good sign that they may have been breeding. But what I'm seeing from my collection is that it is the females leaving the trails. Does this mean that the female is maybe not ready to breed or is it an invite? These girls that are doing this are also on the smaller side around the 1200-1300 gram range.

This is normal for females to do. This means they are interested in your boys.

Thanks for the quick replies. It was just something that I never seen my larger females do.

Now if I could just get my little gay bumblebee and pastel yellowbelly males to pick up on the invite I'll be ok.

They might be and you just arent seeing them! I didnt think my Pastel was locking up with asus, until i caught him attempting to a bit ago. Ive seen him at it a couple more times since, so he knows..... i just dont see them that often! :D

Me as well, he is making all the moves, but I have yet to see an actual lock.

Same here, he acts like he is interested but I never see anything. I think I may need some of that special water that Larry and BT are using on their little guys.
