Mom is normal and pissed off with me messing with them, that is her in that last pic, normally she is darker....dad is a summit line pastel salmon going into shed so his colors are dull in that pic but you get the idea....he is a male that does eat during breeding.

Thanks Jenea, Bill and Alan, was going to pull the male but thought better of it once I got that evil look from her....I'll wait a few days until he is out prowling and snatch him up...lol

No surprises either Jenea, if she would have done this last year I would have noticed...lol

Oh yeah I got a smile ear to ear about this one, more pastel salmons!!!

She is only a little over 5 foot, just like the male....really just a bit bigger from last year when she gave me a small litter....changed some feeding habits and meal sizes and bam got a serious ovulation, I am hoping it all goes smooth from here on out, fingers and toes are crossed for her!

I really like the sizes on them two, be interesting to see how big last years are once they get 2 years old. That male just hasn't got any bigger huh?

LOL...no he can stay for the time being...she will let him know to get away.

Thanks Larry, this pair seems to know what to do and when to do it so far....

Last season I had a rough boa year, lost 2 adult females and my dumeril threw out a mess of slugs and one still born but this pair gave me a tiny litter of 5 babies, one stillborn and 2 slugs so seeing that surprise made it better!

We know the feeling Jeff. Our last season started off pretty much the same as yours! We did hit the odds on a small litter of 4 live with a visual blood boa :wamma: Had another small litter of hypo's but 3 key groups didn't take. The mots, the sabogaes and the second pair of pos. het bloods. :o(

Congrats on the up and coming litter!

No they are not, but Big Gunns has news for the BLBC. He's a boa breeding expert.:wamma:

That's boas for yah. The highest highs and the lowest lows. Every year BG says he's gonna get out of them. EVERY SINGLE YEAR!!!!!

Congrats on the up and coming litter!

If you and the BF start being nicer to Big Gunns(send him gifts and things) he will give you some valuable tips to help your success.
