So I guess I'm officially a breeder now :D
These are my very first two out of Speckled and Birdie. Totally not at all what I was expecting. Speckled usually makes Speckled babies- but these guys right now look all Birdie (I'll post their photos later).

Spooky Forest the first hatchling
(or as my dad thinks I should name him/her FireTiger or Apple Dumpling)

And I don't know if you can see the traffic jam of pins going on in this corner. I find it pretty cute.

Haunted Mansion
(or as my dad calls Green Pumpkin)

I'm disappointed you can't tell from the photos, but I have counted 26 distinct dalmatian spots on Haunted.

They may not look like much now, but I hope maybe they'll take after Falk in the cream department. He is their half brother that I also own.

So tiny and gorgeous! I'd be terrified to try and handle something so little and delicate. Congrats on your first hatchlings.

I know I was so afraid to hold them when I had to move them from the incubator! They, however, do not realize how tiny and squishable they are- they're quite certain they're the most ferocious hatchlings on the planet!

Thanks guys! I'm really excited about them! Hopefully they'll have a half brother or sister pipping within the next few weeks!

I'm really curious to see how that 'pin traffic jam' develops lol.
I'll have to post some updated photos of them to this thread in a month's time.
