While I was cleaning cages... I decided to take a break and make the time to shoot one of my hoggies. I really need to spend more time photographing this fella.. maybe later I will.
Here is a couple quick shots.
Shutter 1/125, Apature f/5.6, ISO 640
external lights only....no flash

I needed more light (or flash) so I could increase the shutter to completely freeze the tounge.
Shutter 1/125, Apature f/6.3, ISO 640
external lights only....no flash

great makros
please do not use the flash!!!
when you use the flash, it is nearly impossible to catch the tru color.
because you overlight(?) the yellow and you do not see it in the pic also the green tend to be brown.

I try to only use my overheads.... that is why I have 3 different bulb wattages I can install in the lights.
