Rescued this girl in mid '07. Took her in from the local reptile rescue, as they were having a hard time kicking her RI. Turns out she had a couple other bugs in her system too, and some mites, so once that was addressed, she came around pretty well. Had a bit of a relapse in her RI last year, but seems to be going well since.

Anyway, I call her Cochina, and I was told she's an '02 F1, but the guy lied about some things, so I can't know for sure now. She's a mature adult though. Sorry for the lousy pics, but I had her tub-ed to clean her cage, and just grabbed a couple as a last thought.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and schedule another vet follow up on her. I mean, she's doing great by all appearances, eats like a pig. She's gained 1000 grams since I got her, but still is only 2860 grams at 63 inches. Seems sorta light to me.

Thanks for looking!

Hog Island Boas have only one g. Bugs me as much as Columbian does. :machinegun:

OK, now that I got that out of me :yessir: ...I should be picking this little guy up in Feb. That's who I intend to put to Cochina. I call him Poco. He's just a little wyrm right now. LOL Prolly don't even have food small enough for him.

The twit that abandoned Cochina had aspirations of breeding her in the condition she was in. When TPWS started with the Boid permit stuff, he up and abandoned several burms, a couple retics and some boas to Las Cruces Reptile Rescue.

Then Boas weren't included in the list. HA HA HA HA HA HA What a tool.

Thanks for the comments!

Maybe next season, or the one following that. Depends on the girl above, and how much the little guy grows.

Thanks for the comps! He is a nice little guy, ain't he.
