Where do ya'll get your feeder insects... and what kind are you getting.

For mealies I have been using Grubco.com but I dont like the fact they dont send out shipping emails. I have also got my Crix from them.... but the last shipment was almost dead because I didnt know to expect them... and they were on the porch till 11pm in the cold.

So who do you use?

Before we went strictly roaches we used reptilefood.com alot and only had a few issues that were taken care of promptly by them with no hassle.

I'm only using crickets and roaches and the crickets I get locally, 500 at a time. I don't really feed that many insectivores.

I get mealies from the local feed store but he gets them from Rainbow. He doesnt mark them up so I get them for what he pays. Sweet deal!

Im self sufficient now. I breed my own roaches and crickets.

In the past Ive gotten my crickets from Grubco. Never had an issue with them.

LOL, you're determined that toad gets a name arentcha? It's not intrested in roaches in the least just yet. When they're dusted they looke like BIG white pill bugs. That might be the reason :wamma: It loves crickets though.

Heh heh yeah. I love toads. I'm fortunate to have had the experience keeping Bufo blombergi, B alvarius, B. paracnemis and B. marinus.
