I'm actully kinda low right now. I've got around 20 boas at the moment. Mostly adults and a couple 2-3 year old animals. Oh ya and a pair of day geckos.

I guess I have around 125-140 balls and around 30-40 leos..:)

I like to stay under 120 out of breeding season. Gets to hectic for me and feels to much like work. Right now I would say just over 100 minus the geckos.

Only 12 balls and 1 sinaloan milksnake, but this will be my first year breeding so I'm sure I'll have lots of holdbacks. I'd like to keep it under 30 snakes simply for time constraints, I don't mind cleaning tubs now, fun spending time with your snakes. However after the 100th tub I think I'd get burnt.

That is a good question. I think I have over 60 balls, 40 corns, and 5 carpets.

I have over 300 boas and pythons at the moment including my mass number of baby brazilian rainbow boas (150) of those. then i also have 70 cages of feeders that i raise.

15, all snakes.

Around 45 balls (35 keepers) and 3 boas at the moment.

At the moment I have exactly 30 ball pythons. I know, thats just sad...I should have at LEAST 200.

I've got 14 balls, 6 retics, 6 boas, 3 corns, 2 ATB's, 1 Black Blood, 1 JCP, 5 cresties + eggs, 3 beardies and 1 green tree monitor. I think that's all of the reptiles.

At one time I was big on snakes. I think I had around 80 at my peak. Plus some other animals which probably brought my total up to around a 100. Dont have any snakes any more. But I got a feeling thats not gonna last around here. Way too much cool stuff happening.

I have roughly 100ish snakes and a hand full of lizards plus a small assortment of stuff the boys catch and release on a daily basis.

As well I currently have a dozen or so balls that I am babysitting and a freedom breeder rack and a half that are in rescue.

Between 60 and 70 keepers, all snakes. And about 100ish babies to be sold.

I don't know.. Last night was feeding night for the ones that take F/T, and it took me over 4 hours to finish getting everyone fed. I love every one of the little buggers, but they sure are work sometimes. Especially when you've got uncooperative tics that need a bath and their cages cleaned. THAT'S WORK. If I just had balls, it probably wouldn't be that big of a deal. It doesn't take me anywhere near as long to clean or feed the balls as it does the tics, boas, atbs, carpet and blood. And the balls make up almost half of my collection. Oh well, I doubt I will ever decide to give up the tics, and probably not the other permanant members of the collection, either. I guess it'll just keep getting worse from here on out. :letsparty:

balls are clean, infrequent dumpers, who hardly ever go out of their way to really trash their tubs.
they are truly royal pythons in my book, so sophisticated.
that's one reason why it's so easy to own so many.

I have a few more now than I had when I originally posted. I've got 9 tics, 6 boas, 2 atbs, 3 corns, and 20 balls in the permanant collection.

The balls really are soo much easier than the others. Besides a spilled water bowl every now and then, they're pretty easy. I have one or two who always manage to move their paper out of the way so that they poop on the plastic, but generally, it's just take the paper out, spray the tub with virusan, wipe out, replace paper, done. Feeding is generally just drop the little buggers in the tub, too.

Alot of the others are PIA's to feed cause most of them get multiple prey items. Last night the small tics got 1 small rat, 2 rat pups and 1 weaned rat each. The dwarf eats 2 rat pups and a large mouse. The big ones generally get a couple colossal rats, since I don't have a good rabbit source. I spose it wouldn't take as long if they didn't eat so dang much. Some of my tics also seem to like to paint with their pee. I end up with urates ALL over the cages. It's crazy, I tell you, crazy.

Had over 200 at one point in my life. Now have around 15 ball pythons and a snowcorn I got given!

It's the special. They got some rat fries and a mouse shake on the side. Actually, they usually get 1 small rat and 2 pups, but they were disposals yesterday for the 5 weaned rats I defrosted that weren't eaten. The blood got 2, the 2 smaller retics got 1 a piece and a ball got one. It's kinda funny, sometimes if I forget to take stuff out of the freezer the night before, my wife will call with my "order" for everybody.

Well at one point i was up to 178 species of Gecko's not counting sub species!I limited that down because of 1 bad year.
Snake wise,Everyone that knows me knows i like the cheap stuff and U.S.species (mostly because those cheap species knowone is really studing them and trying to breed them I.E.Vine snakes etc.etc.etc.)
So ill go with 150 on the snakes....
Monitors and other lizards are at about 100 or so.
Personally its a fascination of what i can get to reproduce.I try to get detailed notes on most of what i breed.Mainly for my own enjoyment.

Kinda sucks not having more snakes because Colleen and I both love working with them so much... seems like when I come home from work all I want to do is interact with them as much as possible... whether that means cleaning cages, feeding or just pulling them out of their tubs to snap a couple pics... We can't wait to start producing some killer animals out of the ones we have worked so hard to finely pick and choose!
