I wasnt aware they got that large. Holy cow! Is that about their max?
That sucker must have been outrageous.
norsmis 01-18-2009, 06:37 AM Their is a considerable size difference in the westerns and easterns. I believe its the easterns that get pretty big. Someone correct me if I am wrong....
JChandler 01-18-2009, 07:53 AM That would be cool to hear for sure

Varanus99 01-18-2009, 08:15 AM Cool. Maybe we can get Barry Miller?
norsmis 01-18-2009, 08:24 AM Barry is definitely one of the leaders. I believe Isis reptiles produces them too. Derick Roddy is another that comes to mind....
Rick247 01-18-2009, 08:51 AM You got my vote.
Larry 01-18-2009, 09:52 AM Thanks guys.. Keep throwing out names that really helps a lot..

Varanus99 01-18-2009, 10:16 AM Probably savin' that one up for the big 100th show extravaganza.
This would be a great show. Excellent suggestion V.

Mrs. Sputnik 01-18-2009, 03:34 PM We discussed this in chat last night And YES very good idea as well as the all species show like Jenea mentioned
jknudson 01-18-2009, 05:03 PM I'd like to hear about Blackheads, but hell...make in an Aussie Pythons show!
Varanus99 01-18-2009, 05:06 PM If I had my choice Id love to hear a show mainly about blackheads with some other Aussie pythons thrown in for good measure. But what do I know? I dont even keep snakes.

They need to be seperate shows as blackheads in a class all their own
WinstonHS 01-18-2009, 05:59 PM Casey Lazic seems like a good guest as far as an Aussie show
Eric Burke 01-18-2009, 08:32 PM That would be a great show! I think you should do a show on blackheads and another on Aussie snakes! That would be a great sat. night.

JOHNS6068 01-19-2009, 09:49 PM I'd love to hear a show like that as well :yessir:
Derick Roddy is another that comes to mind....
Derek Roddy and Matt Turner, they would be good for blackhead shows, and they both keep carpet pythons. Two good topics for what would be an awesome show!!!!
Larry 01-19-2009, 10:48 PM I'm going to make some calls tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to come back with some good news...

ScrubyScrubyDoo 01-20-2009, 10:10 AM Don't forget Tom Keogen.... he's got some nice Axanthic BH too...
AN All Aussie show would be great....
ScrubyScrubyDoo 01-20-2009, 10:27 AM How about over the course of the next 6 months or so have a show that highlights certain geographical areas?
Aussie Show..
Indo show....
Africa Show..
South American show
Central A. Show
Asian show
etc....
Highlight various species from those regions, talk about whats hot, whats not and whats upcoming.
BT and Larry... Can you guys have sideshows while doing the show? Might be a good way to incorporate pictures and info during the show...
Rob
smilin-buddha 01-20-2009, 10:28 AM I am trying to talk Tom Keogan about doing a show. He is a new member of this board.
He could talk about the Blackheads Axanthics. And also all his other snakes.
ScrubyScrubyDoo 01-20-2009, 10:46 AM Their is a considerable size difference in the westerns and easterns. I believe its the easterns that get pretty big. Someone correct me if I am wrong....
You are correct.... there is also a considerable amount of color difference.
Derek Roddy 01-20-2009, 04:05 PM How did I miss this forum!!!!????? Haha.
I guess I don't spend as much time on line as I use to.
Well, looking forward to talking snakes....esp BlackHeads with you all.
Just wanted to say hello and thanks to Tom Keogan for directing me here.
Cheers.

bhmorrill 11-25-2009, 03:31 PM Another vote for Tom Keogan and/or Derek Roddy. Would be really cool to hear from both of them!

Check the archives man, Derek has been on twice, both fantastic shows!
bhmorrill 11-25-2009, 11:41 PM I guess I don't know how to check the archives then. I tried looking for about 20 min and couldn't find any with either of them. I will try again.
With all the different python species that Tom works with, would be cool to hear from him as well if he hasn't been on yet. If he has, let me know and I will find it.

Yeah, I would love to hear about some of Tom's projects - esp the indo-aussie python collection he has.

How are things this fall out at AAR?
bhmorrill 11-26-2009, 11:32 AM I figured it out now. I was searching at the wrong place. Thanks for the help.
Things here are going well. Might be one of our biggest years as far as number of hatchlings and species. We are pretty stoked!!! This time of the year is the worst because you start thinking about pairings and babies, but it is going to be so long before eggs come... But ya, so far things are looking pretty good.

Sounds like we need to get you on Ben...Justin did a great job when he was on - I'm sure you'd do the same...
