has anyone used the thermostats big apple sells i am looking to buy a new thermostat and for the money the bah 1000 sc dosent seem like a bad deal for 40 bucks or should i just buy a new ranco and stick with what i know i would be using it on a hatchling rack i am building

I actually ordered a couple of them out of my mustache winnin's :D. I like them but haven't monitored one to see how well they hold temp over time, but I believe they're WELL worth the money.

thanks for the info. I think I'll order me one if you have had good luck with the ones you bought. I assume by "haven't monitored them over time" you mean you set them up and don't check their temps every 12 hours and not that you used them for a while then ditched them, right?

FYI I have been using one since this summer and it seems to be mostly ok.

One quirk I found is if I set to 92 degs (It only goes to 94 then "max") the relays click on and off ok. If I set to 94 or "max" the relays bounce when it turns on or off.
