Man now that is huge, how are they getting off the eggs? I haven't breed mine yet and was hoping to this season so I was wondering how defensive they get compared to others...
A lot of huffing and puffing but no worse than peeling a BP off a clutch...I always dread it and drink a few brews before I dive in but it ain't bad at all...She's produced for me 3 years in a row and has never even struck at me when I take her eggs...

Thanks everybody...She gave me 31 fertile - No slugs or infertiles...Her 1st year I caught her after the fact...Some were easy to pull apart some weren't...I left the ones that wouldn't pull apart together - Didn't won't to rip them...
