Just got home from White Plains with two new ball pythons and one of my gravid ackie dropped her clutch.
She was huge and I really thought she was gonna lay more. But as it turns out she layed 7 good looking eggs and two slugs. Strange, she never slugged out before. *shrug*
The 7 look good. White and full. And she nested well so chances are high that these puppies will take. Got'em in the incubator, now we wait. :D
All that and more eggs? What a day eh? Congrats.

They average 90-120 days. But can go even longer than that.
My last clutch hatched at day #119 if I remember correctly. Its a loooooooooong wait. And no egg cutting allowed with these guys!

Yup. If all goes well we're looking at late April-May. Maybe even June.
That should give me enough time to get a new camera and get the pic police off my back!!

Just by their appearance I would say they are fertile. They look great. She also threw two duds that were obviously no good. Half the size, brown and soft. These are big, round and firm. Im 99% they are fertile.
If Im wrong and they are not they should start to fall apart rather quickly.

We don't want that....We haven't had a clutch go full from Big Momma yet...so Keep your fingers crossed everyone...He'll let you know in 4MONTHS....God 4 MONTHS to wait for babies.....:(
