Here is my new male CB 08 hog island boa produced by PM herps B) . This guy is awesome and gonna help me that hogs are NOT mean aggressive snakes like many make them out to be. This guy is perfect fine, no signs of aggression at all, even after the long car ride home and stuff. These are just some quick pics I took of him in his container he came in before putting him into his new home.

Nice Hog! Paul has some amazing hogs for sure. His faded pattern hogs are out of this world!

Any and all ssp of Boa have the propensity to bite. It's not something you can tag onto a specific breed, sub species, or locale of Boa. Nics are sorta known for it, I've had many act calm as can be. Hondurans, I'm batting 50/50 on their attitude, and they also are known for being biters. Some of the calmest known are Colombians, and I got a couple of them that will gladly wallop you a good one.

Don't let peoples stories rob you of the enjoyment called Boa Constrictor. Even the biters can be worked with and end up calm as can be.

Nice looking boy too. Gonna be picking up my male in a couple weeks.

Absolutely true! My hog island pair were complete opposites. My male was tame as a kitten and the female was like V's croc monitor.

O defently, not saying all are nice but like BRBs, they seem to get a rap for being bitey and thats not really true for the most part. Im sure there are nasty ones out there but people seem to think that means there all like that for some reason.
