She is getting that thick droopy spread now

http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q34/BryonsBoas/MotPairing.jpg

I think this is the tail end of an ovulation. I just checked her and its gone and the male is trying to spank her for all he is worth.

http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q34/BryonsBoas/PossOvulation.jpg

Been finding a lot of sperm plugs in various cages the last week.

Bryon, how long after the droopy spread do you usualy see ovulation? I have a girl that has had that look for about 2 weeks now and I can't figure out what she is up to. The male is not touching her for days now.

You need to find a new hobby. LOL Just Kidding

Also, what is a Yellow Stripe?

I think its ova buildup. I'm not absolutely sure but its only during breeding / gestation that I see the sides spread and droop to the point that the side medallions are touching the cage floor. I can't give you a timeline as not every female I have does it and some won't ovulate until I pull the male.

Also, what is a Yellow Stripe?

The yellow stripe is a female we got in that has a yellow background with a 97 - 99% full body stripe. She is unproven but other than color could be mistaken for a striped sib of our genetic stripe male. I have a thread with them posted up somewhere on here.

Some of the pairs so far. Our season is pretty much done, just waiting on babies now. Looking like 7 out of the 8 girls are going to go this year.

Thanks! We're pretty excited this year. I still have one poss het blood girl to prove and I didn't see an ovulation ....... again ........ for the 3rd damn time. If.....IF she does go and I missed it, I'll be freakin thrilled. If not, I'll put my proven male to her and the hypo het to the proven het blood.

I recounted, I think its more like 7 out of 9. I paired the DH Ghost x Suri cross again but I wasn't really expecting her to go again. Then again, she is a rule breaker and may go anyway.
