Noticed a few people interested in hognose projects so thought I'd post some pics of hypo's. I'm working with the Evan's/Lazik line and have hatched quite a few over the years. They vary quite a lot in coloration - I tend to prefer the washed out appearance.

Regards, Ryan

Congratulation to your project!
They look beautyful and it is fine to see, how the color develop.

But please allow me to say something.
When you use the names Evans and Lazik together with this beautys, you have to know two things. Evens was the first breeder and name them Hypo and Lazik realized, that they are a kind of albinos.
In my opinion we should call them "Lazik Albino" or "Evans Hypo".

Thanks everyone, the color changes as they age, some get more high contrast where-as others become very washed out.

I hope to produce some double het ghosts this year (hypo x axanthic) which might help explain the genetic make-up of the hypos; simple recessive is all I know for sure currently ;)
