Anyone know off hand if Office Depot stocks CB-70's in the actual store or if its just online? Also, anyone know if a sterilite 41qt is roughly the same dimentions? thx peoples.........

I think the sizes are:

CB 70 are: 33.5 x 17.75x 6

The Sterilites 41's are: 34.75x 16.5 x 6

I'm not sure about the actual store stocking them

The sterilites are longer, narrower and just a touch taller so if you have a rack that fits Iris tubs well, the sterilite might be a bit tight, and if your rack fits the Iris tubs kinda tight, the sterilites might not fit at all. I've never found an office depot store that carries the CB70 tubs, only online.

Instead of ordering them from office depot onlline, you might want to consider the V70 tubs made by Vision plastics. Same exact dimensions but they are thicker, smoother and have a flat bottom so they slide easier in the rack. They are a superior product to the CB70 tubs made by Iris.

The Office Depot here where I live here in FL does have them in the store. I was just in there to check for them tonight.

My office depot never has any of them, every now and then we can find some of the smaller stuff but none of the cb-70's....

Yep. They are much nicer.

However, if one has an appreciation for top of the line plastics, there is even a better tub out there, than the V-70. It a proprietary tub made by ARS. It has the same CB-70/V-70 outside dimensions but the sides are almost vertical which creates a bit more floor surface area. Best part is the plastic is even thicker and higher quality that the V-70. Amazingly better, in fact.

Those ARS tubs do sound better, probably more pleasing on the eye for those OCD people who must have all the same type/size tubs in their racks....

Perhaps. The optional built-in water cup holder also may push an OCD person over the edge of the abyss hey.

They are much stronger than the V-70 tubs. Plastic is so thick that the tub has no reinforcement bridges around the underside of the lip.

Water cup holder.... sounds heavenly, maybe one on the outside front for my coffee too.... now that would be a world of true heavenly dreams, for myself at least.

Do you have a link as to where I can see these?

yep.....those ARS tubs with the water dishes are nice. I drool over them every year at Daytona. I even had my wife take a pic of me hugging an ARS rack. Those things are like the cadilllacs of racks. Plus they come in clear or gray......I think?

I don't know of any good photos of those tubs that are taken closeup. Maybe I'll rustle some up and post them.

And no coffee holder allowed for you on the front. We'll get you a Camelbak so as to keep you moving at speed, through the tubs. No dilly dallying.

We'll pick an insulated one to keep that coffee hot.

Thanks Jeff!

As I said, I'm not aware of any good photos. Those two photos in the link are not the tubs.

I don't know why ARS doesn't have these on the site.....but here is a picture of one without the cupholder......

And for a bit of a size reference.....one filled with five feet and fifteen pounds of serpent....

these tubs are awesome, very sturdy and as was mentioned I like the flat bottom and near vertical sides, provides a lot more floor space than a 41qt tub.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check them out next time I need tubs. I'd rather not have the built in cup holders though, I think it would be a pain when using paper substrate.

I use paper also, so no cup holders for me either. I do have a tub w/ cup holder around here somewhere; it is life time strong as well. The cup holder is such a nifty idea that I even feel a little tug at me to use bedding instead of paper, sometimes.
