okay some are obvious, i've kept lotsa snakes, but most have been constrictors, love the way they "feel" (pause)...'scuse me, i think i need a cigarette...
i'm back, hence the handle "constrictorkeeper".
"chimpkin" probably has a few simians in his family("kin"folk of the "chimp"), so that makes sense.
but some of us were a little more vague in their selection.
share if you want to, 'specially if it's interesting.

That is hilarious! Actually I can tell you where chimpkin comes from. Back in college I had a unique vocabulary. I never called anyone by name. On any given day you could be called one of the following: Chachy, Chico, Chicolicious, chimpkin, hector, chimpster or scrot! And if something sucked it was scrotastic!

Chimpkin just ended up being the most popular.

I would not say it is interesting but..... mine is a childhood nickname. It originated from my mom always bitching about my room and our basement. Her favorite saying was " it looks like a bomb went off in there". So my brothers/friends got to calling me shrapnel, then just shrap.

BTW- that "scrot" (accent on the "o" is it?) one does sound foul. no expaination required.

she couldn't decide between "pick up this sh-t"
or... "pick up this crap"
so... it just came out: "pick up this shrap"

thanx for clearing that up.

An annoying coworker of mine seems to think that she's THE princess. So I was on a princess kick for awhile... I was princess of everything- just to piss her off. Haha! So that ended up being my email address. Then my bp.net sn.... and then that's the name everybody knew me by so I just stick with it.

Mo comes from the 2 centered letters my first name: Simone
I got it 4 years ago from a friend of mine. I never had a acceptable nickname before so I was glad I got that one :D

I like it because it's short and catchy but you can read a lot into it. I really think it fits me well because I'm not a complicated person but my thinking is very deep sometimes.

Oh, and the dots are there just because there is this 3-letters minimum for a nickname ;)

I'm into African house snakes, and their genus name Lamprophis literally translates as "shining snake."
