So, I decided to start a hog nose project. I bought some adult western hogs from Vin Russo during the winter and recently since it started warming up. So they started feeding more heavily. That was great.......I thought, however, no one told me these things poop DAILY!!! Some times more than once a day!! Its insane!! Jeanna I simply dont know how the hell you handle this. These animals are so cool and I wish could keep them but OMG the poo is out of control!!!!
Anyway, I thought I would share my experience. Thanks for reading:)

:lmao: They have the worst smelling poo ever, and they poo about 3 times for every meal!!! I try to tell people, but they just don't believe me!! :lol

You aint kidding. After talking to Justin Mitcham and hearing you on RR I still thought the poo would be handleable, I have maintained a collection of 150+ pythons and boas since high school and still now through college but there has never been a stinkier species in my room!!!! It so bad!!

Like I said on RR, I can walk in my snake room and instantly tell you if a western has pooed! :D

Oh yeah! Even though my guys are still little I know as soon as one of them takes a crap. Thankfully they're still on paper towels so it's just a matter of changing them out.

I am really disappointed Quig...I want some very much but smells are an issue ....you have to have a space/place ...it sound slike a real issue .....and i really want some hoggies :machinegun:
