Back at the start of Sept. I had a chance to go down to NY and get a tour of the reptile portion of the zoo. The Maine Herp society sponsored the trip (1000 mile driving trip for me, in one weekend!) and 6 of us went down. We also stopped in at the White plains reptile show. Both were fun, zoo was better and here are a few pics.

All and all it was a great weekend. I think next year we will go to the Bronx Zoo.

that salamander was awesome man, that one and another just sat there staring as I took pics, they also had mexican axolotl there were just crazy looking.
