So I've been trying to sell a pair of burms that I have. They're pretty amazing snakes, but in the long run, I could keep and feed a dozen ball pythons for the price and space it would take for those two snakes. I've promised myself that I'll get some more big snakes in the future when I have the space. Plus, I'm still keeping my sweetheart albino that's about as close to a lap dog as any snake I've seen.

On to my main point, I've had a couple serious buyers now that are located in NY. In fact, this last guy sent a deposit over, and then I find out where exactly he's from. I should've asked earlier, but it just slipped my mind. Of course, I'm refunding the deposit and moving on to the next guy on the list.

So, how common are the big snakes in New York? Do people not realize that they're illegal there? Or are they hoping to pick one up off the internet from someone who isn't aware of the laws?

lots of people are truely ignorant to the laws, others just don't care.
