A couple of month's ago I moved to Tennessee. I was setting up my rack system and forgot to put the probe on the heat tape. I went up stairs 3 hours later to check on things and all the snakes were at the front of there tubs. The helix read 89 degree's and I check the heat tape and it was very hot. I then checked the temp and it was 128. Dont eveer get it a hurry when setting up your t-stat, probes and heat tapes. I was getting ready to go to bed for the nite when I checked them one last time. I had 18 Ball pythons in the rack. I felt so dumb and lucky at the same time.

That was a near miss for sure. Good thing you rechecked it.

Man your a lucky guy.. I'll definately keep this in the back of my mind when I put racks together.
