So far I am the only dealer selling InstaCages online. It's an awesome caging system and I use it here for my large and ever growing Crested Gecko colony. I primarily use the large size to house adult Cresteds in 1.3 groups. Its specs are 18"x18"x26". The medium size runs 12.5"x12.5"x18". I have a few of these on hands to sort juveniles and holdbacks by size as they grow older or are sold. You can check out the InstaCage informational page from the manufacturer at http://www.aritonnic.com/.

I love these cages. They magnet together so maintenance is done much faster and more efficient now. Without any screws to deal with I can disassemble, clean, and reassemble a cage in less than 10 minutes. Crested Geckos aren't exactly the cleanest geckos like other species that opt to defecate in one corner of the cage. I do a full cage clean of 20% of my colony each day. With InstaCage I clean 5 cages a day in about 45mins.

With that being said I wonder how come more breeders aren't switching to them? The screen cage definitely cuts down on mold and bacteria growth compared to housing your Cresteds in a rack like system. They are much easier to clean than the popular glass "cubes" or screen cages that assemble with screws. I post InstaCage ads on Kingsnake weekly and the manufacturer travels to large shows around the country. I'm not seeing the sales though that I thought would be associated with this great caging system.

Respond back if you are using InstaCages, this is the first time you are hearing about them and are interested, or you have cavites and questions. This is a fairly new product and I want to see what kind of brand name identity it has developed.

I've seen those and I like the idea of having a cage that easily snaps together like that I hate having to unscrew my cages to give them a good clean being able to pull them apart and soak them is great! And being a girl I do like the nice colors they come in.

However I prefer having my geckos in a partially enclosed cage as opposed to a fully screened cage - now if I could take the screen out of the sides and replace it with some plexi that might be a bonus.

They are messing around with the idea of having a plexi glass front and back. For now though it is all screen. I have no problems though maintaining humidity in my screen cages though. I just mist more often. You could always install an automatic mister or fogger as well.

They do make maintenance a snap though.

We use an InstaCage for our Chameleon, and bought it direct from the manufacturer. He told me at the show that I can also email them and buy them direct online.

They're a great cage, and easy to maintain. I wouldn't mind a cage with a back PVC panel though so I could prevent overspray when misting the cage.

You probably can buy them direct right now. There aren't that many dealers right now. I know Pangea just picked them up, but I still have lowest prices right now as far as the larger size goes.

And the thread has been moved to market business talk even though it's a cage, when designed, had Crested Geckos as the targeted animal to house.

I'm looking for a strong, stylish cage that will allow the animal to feel free, be secure

What animal are you trying to house?
