how much value do you put in them when you look at your breeding projects

I used to place more value on them than I do now, I guess it all depends on what genetic markers you're referring too..

When it comes to like poss het pieds I place a lot of value on them. When it comes to is this snake a phantom I place little value on them.

I put a lot into the markers if I produced the Pos Hets myself...I've never bought any Pos Hets but if I did I wouldn't put anything into them...

I know people that think they are important. I use them as an indicator of possibility.

back in the nineties when axanthic kenyans were gettin' some play, i could tell the hets from the also-rans by their chin scalation.
worked for me with the back 'n whites,

"Markers" have little to no intrinsic value to me -- but I'm not taking any more chances with hets so the point is rather moot for me. :cool:
