All promotions from here on up are appointed by the Promotions Committee.
Captain is the first appointed rank you can achieve in the BLBC. We want members with the best interest of this club at heart who are very active within the club. Seniority along your club membership will be reviewed in detail. Decorated Officers will have a much higher probability of getting promoted over non-decorated Officers. Not everyone will be promoted to the higher ranks. All Captains as of 6/22/2011 are secure from further rank revisions.

Majors and up. Personalized "Serving Since" nameplate for your sig upon request.
Total seniority as a BLBC member, overall activity and the quality in which you are actively participating in the league will be taken into consideration before you eligible to be promoted to the rank of LT Colonel. We do not necessarily promote the member with the highest number of post, we really do take into consideration things like registration date, overall activity and standing within the BLBC. Four years of service is mandatory before a member is considered for a promotion to LT Colonel.
As with all Senior Officer ranks conduct is taken very seriously when determining if a member will be promoted to a higher rank. If a member gets infactions for violating club rules that member will be passed over when considered for a promotion, it's that simple.
Bush-League LT Colonel
http://www.reptileradio.net/rankinsignia/lt_colonel.gif
LT Colonels are eligible to assist in Commanding specialty units within the Bush-League ie Awards Committee, Recruiting ect. Not all units need a second in command, the Colonels will make that decision whether one is needed or not..
LT Colonels have more privileges including more pm storage, larger custom avatar, access to the Command center. LTC's are also listed in the forum leaders section.
LT Colonels and up have the ability to personalize their profile with custom images, colors and font.

Five years of service is mandatory before a member is considered for a promotion to the rank Colonel.
Upon making Colonel you will be placed in Command of a particular section in the Bush-League like Ball pythons, Boas, off topic etc etc. At this point you will carry the title of Section Commander
Colonels also have the ability to Command specialty units within the Bush-League ie Awards Committee, Recruiting ect. Colonels will be in charge of managing their units. Colonels can request members be assigned or removed from their unit. Colonels also have enforcement powers throughout the league...
Colonels can also create and manage social groups within the Bush-League. Colonels can also create a sub-fourm for their group on the open board as long as they have at least 20members.
Colonels have access to the Command Center which is a sub-section for Commanders only..
They also have more luxuries like a bold username along with increased personal message (pm's) space 1000 max, album space ect ect.
There will be no lame duck Colonels with zero responsibility..
You must hold the rank of Colonel for 1-2+ years before you are eligible for promotion to the rank of General. Many things are considered when deciding if a Colonel will be promoted to the rank of Brigadier General.
-Overall Seniority
-Time at the rank of Colonel
-Club Activity
-Productivity at the rank of Colonel
-Management of your assigned Section
-Decision making abilities
-Conduct
Generals
Staff Officers
Generals are the highest ranking Officers here in the Bush-League Breeders Club. All Generals are members of the Command Staff and are in principle either Super Moderators or Admins depending on rank.
All Generals have full enforcement powers League wide. With that, they have the ability to give infraction points for Club rule violations along with banning abilities. The high ranking Generals do carry full admin powers.
Generals have a Bold and Italics username along with even more personal message space, album space ect ect.
To achieve the rank of Brigadier General you must be promoted into the Command Staff. Only the Chief of Staff and up can promote members to the rank of General.

(General of League)
~The 5 star General rank is reserved for the BLBC founders only~
Titles
Senior Officer
Majors, LT Colonels
Staff Officer
Colonels, Brigider Generals and even Major Generals that are members of the Command Staff. Full moderator powers throughout the Bush-League.
Commanding General
Reserved for Lieutenant Generals unless there are no sitting Lieutenant Generals in which case the senior Major General can carry the title of Commanding General. Commanding Generals are Administrators.
Chief of Staff
Lieutenant General or Full General aka 4 Star General. The Chief of Staff is the single highest ranking Officer in the Bush-League Breeder's Club under the founders. In effect the Chief of Staff is reserved for the senior Administrator.
General of League
Reserved for the founders only.
A word about the ranks here in the BLBC. With each rank past Captain there will be fewer and fewer members promoted to the next rank. For instants there will be far fewer Officers promoted from the rank of LT Colonel to the rank of Colonel, than there will be Officers promoted from Major to LT Colonel. Same thing goes for Colonels promoted to General, there will be very few that are promoted from Colonel to General.
For all of the senior officer ranks. Any period of inactivity lasting longer than 90 days will result in you be relieved of your command responsibilities unless a special request has been submitted. Yes that means being demoted to a lesser rank. This is an automatic action designed to keep only active participating members holding the highest ranks in the BLBC.
We reserved the right to make revisions to the ranking structure at anytime. We also reserve the right to promote or demote any member at anytime for any reason we see fit.
