Sputnik 10-27-2008, 08:15 PM Bag of bedding costs me $5.95 Tama 10-27-2008, 08:24 PM I buy Aspen bedding the same size as your pine bedding at $10.50+tax a bag from Tractor Supply. We raise the rats and mice. Only rodents we buy are the larger frozen rats and guinea pigs. Cornball 10-27-2008, 08:30 PM I get my pine bedding at the farm store for $7.75 10 cube ft. Raise my own rodents. Saltydog88 10-27-2008, 10:28 PM I used to pay 1.79 for mice pinks and fuzzies, and 1.99 up to adult. Adult rats were 2.50. I raise my own mice now. I buy the large compressed bales of aspen at reptile shows for about 20.00. 147BOAS 10-28-2008, 12:30 AM its some times cheeper to order online thats what i do BT 10-29-2008, 05:26 AM I buy my pine shavings and rodent feed from The Tractor Supply...If they have torn bags of pine I grab them for $2.50 a bag...The feed is $12 a 50 lb bag...There's no way in hell I could afford to feed my collection if I didn't breed my own rodents...Sucks but it's a hellva lot cheaper... |
