I buy Aspen bedding the same size as your pine bedding at $10.50+tax a bag from Tractor Supply. We raise the rats and mice. Only rodents we buy are the larger frozen rats and guinea pigs.

I used to pay 1.79 for mice pinks and fuzzies, and 1.99 up to adult. Adult rats were 2.50.
I raise my own mice now. I buy the large compressed bales of aspen at reptile shows for about 20.00.

I buy my pine shavings and rodent feed from The Tractor Supply...If they have torn bags of pine I grab them for $2.50 a bag...The feed is $12 a 50 lb bag...There's no way in hell I could afford to feed my collection if I didn't breed my own rodents...Sucks but it's a hellva lot cheaper...
