Never tried Bob. Will Leary wasn't interested and Dave will be back.

Austin Stevens would be pretty cool but to be honest BT and I have little interest in the T.V. reptile stars.

We'd have them on of course, more so for exposure to the industry, then from a legitimate interest on our part.

Austin Stevens is too much of a risk taker. I watched one show where he got bit twice in the one show. His brand of excitement may actually hurt the image of reptiles in the publics eye.

I would love to hear Chad or Robin from Proexotics talk in more detail about the asian rat snakes.

When is there going to be another Larry & BT exclusive. I like to just hear people call in and BS.

How about Peter Kahl? Now that would be one heck of a show.

I agree. For a while there we thought that was an impossible task but there may be a small possibility after all. Time will tell.

I love the guests that appreciate all of us listeners and Larry and BT and that see reptile radio as a way to promote the hobby and their business. I feel like you guys shouldn't have to beg anyone or ask anybody more than once. Nobody can be too f'ing busy at midnight on Saturday to give the people that support their livelyhood 30 minutes to an hour.

I love that Dave Barker did 2 nights in a row because the first night didn't record and not once did he try to get people to go to his website and buy his animals, he was promoting/protecting his hobby.

Brian has been on numerous times and loves the idea of reptile radio. Those are the people that I want to be on the show, guys that have a passion for the hobby. I'll get off my soapbox now, just pisses me off when I read people aren't interested in being on the show or back out of the anniversary show (no names mentioned :D) because they're too busy. :yessir:

suggestion, merely suggestion.
truth is you could have billy bob joe mama and his magic one-eyed wonder worm morph breeding secrets on and we'd all still listen.
it's all about Larry, and BT...
get used to it.

Hell yea yessir yessir... Dave was great! Very down to earth, he knew BT and I were totally destroyed when we had issues doing his first show.. He said "no problem fellas we'll do it tomorrow night".. Really good dude right there

Brian was there from the beginning. BT called him and asked him to do the show when nobody knew what Reptile Radio was and we was like "Yea man, no problem, I'll do two weeks no sweat"

We credit a lot of the shows success to Brain. After BHB was on when we called possible guest they would ask "who has been on this Reptile Radio" after I replied with BHB most of the possible guest were like sure I'll do it. It snowballed from there.

Now THAT woould be cool.

I remember when the "Care and Maintenance" series of small white books started to come out. Back in the late 80s I believe. Up until then all that was available to the average herper was TFH (Tropical Fish Hobbyist) books which were shall we say not the best.

His books were short, to the point, packed with info and cheap. Making them attractive to someone who was buying an inexpensive reptile. I used to work in pet shops and its hard to convince someone buying a $20 lizard that they need a $40 book to go with it. His books flew off the shelves, we couldnt keep them in stock. Yeah they would be considered basic even dated by todays standards but at the time they were cutting edge. I have a bunch of them laying around here somewhere!

I also subscribed to his Reptiles/Amphibians magazine. The guy has done it all. Would be neat-o to hear him on the show.

Wow, I didn't know he had done THAT much!

It would be cool if he talked about Rhacodactylus species, but any other theme would be great too.

I think your show is awesome! I have a lot of catching up to do, but I like the fact that you have something for everyone. I caught your Anthony Caponetto show, and I really am not a gecko fan, but it was pretty interesting to hear about the different morphs and breeding needs. Keep it up!

Pete K would be great. I would like to see Jeremy Stone on again and D and T always make for a great show. Seems like they just got started and the show was over. Mike Weitzman has some killer projects in the boa realm.
