They have bred, VERY rarely in captivity. Hopefully someday, when i get a girlfriend for him.

But right now, i have not personally heard of anyone being successful with these guys and getting clutches all too often. i think i can count on one hand how many breedings of these guys ive heard about online in captivity.

Maybe i will be one of those few? Who knows!

There's more irredesence on that little snake than there is on an 18 foot retic :yourock:. Was it you that said they go blue like the Calabar? I'd like to see that.

They do. When he goes into shed again, i will be sure to get a pic of him. I dont bug him too often, these guys get stressed pretty easy and are VERY sensitive to light. ( can ya tell from the eyes? )

You Gotta check these guys out on the web, they way their skulls and teeth are all connected and such. WAY different than ANY other snake out there! They are WAY cool!

Are they considered, what's the term, fossorial? The Calabar is. Their skull is much different than a normal constrictors and because of it they can't eat particularly large prey items.
