Hey guys!
Well here is the story back in the fall I got some book shelve that I wanted to turn into cages. I took them apart and put the wood back together so I will have a "condo" cage and more depth to it. Well it went horrible, the wood was just crap, it looked like it had water damage and it wasn't going to work. Here are some pics:http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5517/hpim4279.jpg (http://img35.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hpim4279.jpg)

The imperfection doesn't show to well on the pics but if you look closely you might see them.
So after cutting my self trying to cut the plexiglass I decided to go to lowes and do this the right way. With the help of friend I took some measurements and build it all over again with new wood. It was really cheap too, I was surprise how cheap wood was. Here are some pics of what I have now.

They are 3 cages of 39x14x22 and 2 of 39x121/2x22 There are two that are less high then the others because for some reason I couldn't made them all the same high but it will be ok.
Tomorrow I will put tiles inside so to make it water proof and put the frame for the doors. And on saturday I will be painting it.

Thanks for looking and comments will be much appreciated.

What size wood are you using? 1/2", 3/4" ? It looks like you might have some sagging issues, if you do not brace the front somehow. Other than that, it looks good so far.

I like the second one much better. Are you sealing the wood somehow?

I am putting a 2x4 frame in front to give it support and for a place to put the plexi on.
I am putting tile inside that will be my seal, and then out side I will be painting it.

well the tile thing dint worked like I plan. So instead I found this sealer that I think it will work: Acri-Soy MST Sealer http://www.ecosafetyproducts.com/Acri-Soy-Masonry-Stone-Tile-Sealer-p/a1-3002-1.htm it is non toxic is soy base and irs water proof. So what do you guys think?

Here are some update pics of the "condo cage" I already cut the plexi and put it in. I paint the out and inside the only thing that is missing is heating and sealing it inside but that will have to wait until it gets here. I also will be putting some pvc perches and some more security stuff so that the snakes wont push the plexy because is a little thin. Hope you guy. Pleas give you opinion!!
