View Full Version : Where will Champagnes go next year?
Livingcolours 10-29-2008, 09:18 AM Hi there!
This year I aquired a male Champagne who eventually will make it up to breeding size within the next four months.
I am asking myself now on what price level they will go for the next year/in two years.
Please let me know what you think ... Champagne (to my opinion) is one of the hottest morphs out there, especially when you see them live in person.
I know I will make my investments back ;)... besides it would be interesting to know how many Champagnes are out there aswell.
Regards, Felix
Nutsboutballs 10-29-2008, 09:25 AM I saw these at Daytona this year and they were HOTTT! Still out of my price range. I'll have to wait until they drop to around $1000. On my wish list for sure.
Livingcolours 10-29-2008, 09:34 AM ... or let us turn my initial question around:
When do you think Champagnes will hit the magic 1000,- ?
I got a 1.1 of Champagnes this year...I was shocked (well - not really) to see a Sable Champagne on KS for $4500...Damn shame...I think they'll be $2500 - $3000 each this year...

You mean next year? I thought these were $10000 just last year? I thought I remembered Brock had them for $7500 or was it $5000 at Daytona? Looks like I'll have mine in 2 years. Not sure how I missed one on ks for $4500 and a sable champagne? What is a sable? I don't think I've even seen that one.
Larry 10-29-2008, 03:56 PM IMO You will always make money as long as the snake remains healthy and breeds. In order to get that quick return/profit, I really think you have to have him up to size and breeding that first season. If not you've got a lot of ground to make up...

I agree with ya man, you miss a season..... you got your work cut out, but it can still be done!
Livingcolours 10-29-2008, 06:24 PM Thanks for your opinions:yourock:
I was excpecting the price to drop by something like 50% this year. So, for Europe that would mean 2500 - 3000 Euros. For the year after it may touch the 1000,- already but hopefully stays in the 1500+ range.
I am not sure at all if he makes it by time (I am normally cooling by 1st of november)... guess he needs 4 more months to be strong and big enough to be a proper breeder.
But I guess it`s worth to go for a late season ... I am a bit afraid to get my females out of "rythm".
What do you guys think? Should I try him out @ 300g already or should I go for late season and wait till he gets in the 600+ range?
Thanks for your opinion!

Livingcolours 10-29-2008, 06:30 PM and... @ B.T congratulations to your addition! They look really hot!
May I ask whats your plans for the female?
I still believe there`s a Superform of the Champagne ... have there been any known breedings Champagne x Champagne?
I guess Noah did ... and that tricky guy wouldn`t tell ... even if he knew!

I haven't heard of any yet, in this game that doesn't mean much. Theres tons of stuff out there that people have produced that they ain't talking about..

Appreciate that...I'll try my male this year...He's right at 325 grams right now...I'll feel better if I can get him to 500...My females 1st year? She'll probably go to my Champagne male or a BEL if I can make a male by the time she's ready...Maybe a Super Blast or Killer Bee...Hell - I don't know yet...Good luck with your guy...
